Comment: Not only the basic skill of Live2D is high, but the high quality of the eye and mouth movements is very impressive, giving a sense of realism while also having an animated expression. I was impressed by the high level of details in the modeling of the hands and physics calculations, which are very difficult to achieve. This is a work that reveals the attractive points of Live2D, that is "get the illustration moving as you wish".

Comment: In a good way this work did not look like normal Live2D and thus I saw new possibilities. I was so impressed by the way how it combined Live2D and After Effects to enhance the appeal of the elements.

Comment: Not only the range of motion which even covered face profile, but also the movement of the body that follows is highly technical, reminiscent of 3D. The practical use of physics in the eyes, the ingenious positioning of highlights, and the varying thickness of lines, looking at all of these details scattered throughout the characters is so much fun.

Comment: This work shows mysterious fascination as if it really exists in the world. Choices were smartly made between where to move and where to be fixed, and the high level of technical skill made those beautiful objects move gorgeously. All of these has led to this wonderful work.

Comment: I was so obsessed with the performance that drew me in and the sense of realism. Even the concert stage in the background was created with Live2D, and the use of light and facial expressions of the character just gives life to the entire piece. This work is filled with ingenuity needed to "Express a Live Performance".

Live2D CREATIVE AWARDS?

The Live2D Creative Awards are an annual contest where participants compete based on the quality of original works created using Live2D.
Started in 2014, this contest has been the starting point for a large number of Live2D pros.

Works from any genre can be submitted, including video, animated illustrations, games, and characters/avatars so long as they were made using Live2D.
We look forward to seeing the works that all of you have poured your hearts and strength into.

HOW TO ENTER

Entry period: July 19 (Mon) – 23:59 Japan time on November 15, 2021 (Mon)
How to enter: Upload the work which you created to YouTube, Twitter, Bilibili, or Weibo.
Enter the necessary information in the entry form and submit it.
Entry requirements: • Work must be no longer than 5 minutes.
• Entered works must be available to view on the Internet from the date of entry until the end of January 2022.
• Add the designated title or hashtag.
YouTube / Bilibili：Include the words “Live2D_2021” in the title.
Twitter：Add the hashtag #Live2D_2021.
Weibo：Add the hashtag #Live2D_2021#.
Eligibility for entry: Both amateurs and professionals are welcome.
Creators of all ages, nationalities, and professions are welcome.
Group entries are permitted.
Corporations may not participate.
Standards for judging: Does the work communicate the characteristics and potential of Live2D or 2D works?
Is the quality of the Live2D animation at a high level?
Notes: ●If the entrant is a minor less than 20 years of age, the consent of a parent or guardian must be obtained before entering the contest. Entries from a minor will be considered as having the consent of a parent or guardian.
Entrants must not submit entries to which any of the following applies. In the event that the organizer determines that any of the following applies to an entry, the organizer shall be permitted to invalidate the entry, cancel the award, or take other action without providing any notice to the entrant.
●The work infringes on or may infringe on the copyright or other rights of a third party.
●The work is or may be defamatory towards a third party, or infringes or may infringe on the privacy of a third party.
