2021.12.24 Announcement of the Live2D Creative Awards 2021 Finalists and Related Promotional Campaign
On Friday, December 24, 2021, Live2D Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Tetsuya Nakajo)—the company that develops and sells the Live2D Cubism PC software for adding dynamic animation to 2D illustrations—announced the renovation of its special website for the Live2D Creative Awards, the company’s annual large-scale contest where participants compete based on the quality of original works made using Live2D. The announcement also included information about the 2021 finalist works and a related promotional campaign.
The Live2D Creative Awards are an annual contest where participants compete based on the quality of original works created using Live2D.
Started in 2014, this contest has been the starting point for a large number of Live2D pros.
Works from any genre can be submitted, including video, animated illustrations, games, and characters/avatars so long as they were made using Live2D.
The entry period for this year’s contest was July 19 (Monday) to November 15, 2021 (Monday).

This year’s contest received more than 300 entries—the largest number ever.
